Today, December 30, 2024, as I reflect on this transformative year, my heart is brimming with gratitude for everything it brought into my life.
This year marked a dream fulfilled for my family as we completed our pilgrimage to the Iraivan Temple at the Kauai Hindu Monastery, USA. Immersing ourselves in the divine monastic life was a deeply enriching experience. Participating in sacred rituals like Ardra Abhishekam, Krittika Homa, and Pradosha Abhishekam, while advancing our vrata level under the blessings of Satguru Bodhinatha, was a journey of spiritual awakening.
Our consistent practice of weekly satsangs, monthly Thiruvadi pujas, and daily spiritual vigils strengthened my inner self and renewed my commitment to a spiritually anchored life.
HabitZup
2024 was also the year I pursued my dream project, HabitZup, blessed by God, Gods, and Gurus. This venture is not just a game but a way of creating joyful and positive living every day. Playing HabitZup with over 25 families revealed the beauty of family bonding and collaboration. Meeting like-minded souls and visionary school principals further inspired me to spread positivity and values through HabitZup.
Iraivan.me
Another milestone was launching my personal blog, Iraivan.me, where I shared 100+ real stories and life lessons—content that spans 8-12 hours of reflective reading. This achievement was a labor of love and a divine flow of thoughts. Which story resonated most with you?
This year also underscored the need for mindful living. Conversations with Gen Z parents revealed the pervasive impact of phone addiction and the erosion of human values. I sincerely pray for divine guidance to bring HabitZup into every home and foster deeper connections.
Books
Among the highlights of 2024 were the three books that enriched my understanding:
- The Mom Test
- Billion Dollar Weekend
- Kalkham – The Portal
Resolution
Out of 30+ ideas I envisioned this year, two took shape: Iraivan.me and HabitZup.com. Both have been transformative endeavors.
At the end of the year, I hold myself to one benchmark: Am I a better person compared to who I was last year? This year, the answer is a resounding “YES.”
What about you? How do you measure your growth each year?
