In 2020, we owned a flat and a house in Bangalore. Due to the lockdown and various COVID-19 restrictions, the real estate market declined significantly. With divine consciousness, I felt that owning all these material assets was burdensome. As part of a consolidation effort, we decided to sell the flat. Options were limited, but we managed to list the property on an online real estate service.
In December 2020, my family embarked on a pilgrimage to South India, visiting Thiruvaduthurai, Thiruvanjiyam, Theyperumanallur, and Kumbakonam. Many miracles unfolded during this sacred journey. At the Theyperumanallur temple, the sivacharyas mentioned that not everyone can visit this temple. Only devotees fulfilling their karmic duties from previous births are blessed with this opportunity. Thiruvanjiyam is another remarkable temple, where Lord Yama serves as Lord Siva’s Vahana. The Karthigai month holds special significance here; on the last Sunday of Karthigai, Ganga Matha graces the temple, washing away all sins accumulated by the devotees. These moments truly gave us goosebumps.
The main deity at Thiruvaduthurai is Shri Mahalingeswarar. This was our first visit to this peaceful and powerful Siva temple. As with many sivalayams, we felt the purity of the divine presence, meditated deeply, and then returned to Bangalore.
In June 2021, I received an SMS from the real estate portal. A person named Mr. Mahalingam wanted to visit our flat. For Sivanadiyars, any name associated with Siva is deeply divine, melting the heart. The next day, we had a video call with Mr. Mahalingam avl, and we instantly liked each other. We agreed on a price, and Mr. Mahalingam became a cherished family friend. Remarkably, they transferred the full amount one month before the registration. In this Kali Yuga, such trust and goodwill are rare blessings.
As many of you know, we met our Guru and became students of the Himalayan Academy, practicing the “Master Course Trilogy” since 2020. Gurudeva and his disciples have been constructing the first hand-carved, all-stone Iraivan Temple for over 30 years. This magnificent temple, which can be considered the eighth wonder of the world, will receive a separate dedicated article.
In March 2023, the mini-Kumbhabhishekam of the Iraivan Temple was conducted with auspicious energy and Iraivan’s grace. On this sacred day, Satguru Bodhinatha revealed the name of the temple’s deity: Shri Mahalingeswarar!
Is it a pure coincidence?
Jai Mahalingeswara!
Two Takeaways:
- Divine Synchrony: How faith and spirituality can align life events in mysterious and beautiful ways, as seen with the unexpected yet blessed sale of the flat to Mr. Mahalingam.
- Miracles in Everyday Life: Hope that this experience reminds us that even in challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, divine intervention and miracles are possible if one remains steadfast in faith and devotion.
